Heat-Shrinkable Coating is a high-performance corrosion protection system primarily used for field joints, bends, fittings, and pipeline rehabilitation. It consists of a cross-linked polyolefin backing coated with a heat-activated adhesive layer. When heat is applied using a propane torch or induction system, the sleeve shrinks tightly around the substrate, while the adhesive melts and flows to create a strong, moisture-proof bond with the pipe surface and adjacent factory coating.
